Linton LeCompte, 74, passed away on March 11, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side.

He loved shooting the bull with his buddies and having coffee with them to reminisce. He enjoyed working at what is now Sasol for many years, where he was the Superintendent of the Paraffin Unit. He then returned home where he would become the P Tech Department Head. He was also a proud Veteran in the Vietnam War where he served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary LeCompte; daughters, Kimberly LeCompte of Charlotte, NC., Kellie Gaines and husband Chris of Franklin, TN.; brother, Adam LeCompte, Jr. and wife Audrey of Crosby, TX.; sister, Marcella Tezeno of Long Beach, CA.; along with three grandchildren, Kyle LeCompte of Lake Charles, Braylen Gaines, and Riley Gaines, both of Franklin, TN.

Linton is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Ora LeCompte; brothers, Delton LeCompte, Sr., Welton LeCompte; and sister, Gloria Johnson.
